These Photos are my designs for remodeling a golf course in Japan.
I've worked on about 10000m2  and spent 2month on the project.
Golf course business is difficult around the world now.
So few and less.
The only new golf course are in China or Vietnam I think.

Cambodia my story

I went to Siam reap Cambodia 4 years ago around 1 year for work.
It was for new golf course construction project.
My position was supervisor that coordination for every construction works.
There works have a lot of  happenings.
So Fanny's and exiting.
Also I had a culture shock.
Khmer are very friendly and always smiling.
It's always seem to have no worries.
They are almost poor but they not have realize.

Khmer people don't play golf .
The golfer in Cambodia are Korean or Business trippers and  few traveler.

Story of Japanease tree survey

Do you know how to make a traditional Japanese trees ?
It's used so long long times like a humans life.
And very sensitive work same as BONSAI.
There are special trees for use to Japanese traditional garden.
Of course there are expensive.
Last time I was survey for Japanese Paine Trees ship for China.with my partners.

These age is may be around 70years

The trees are sail in Japan is difficult now.
Only a small Budget to Landscape in all Japan construction projects.
Japanese homes are very expensive for the people then can't afford such as garden for good trees.
And Japan economy is already die.

Near year,many trees have been shipped to China and sometime EU from Japan.
China has been become a big market in the world you know.
For the golf course or big house and special projects in China.

Even  trees are not used for a big project in Japan.

But trees have grow by Japanese craftsmen (gardener)

Now they are very old men.

Because can not more sail on the future in Japan.

They say " If I die will be finish. "

He inherited the job from his father.
Nobody to next.
On this time old man die or stop, we can't  use this kind of beautiful trees. 

This will definitely leave their culture will die out of vogue.

I think it's seems like to Tuna fisherman work.
The price is just a asking price, if you looking a good man for him price will be cheap.
But if you don't like for him, will be can not buy for anyone tree from him.

I have some questions and worried about maintenance for future.

And this Japanese tree culture for future too.

The maintenance is difficult.

This skill is should be required to sensitive nerves.

Dose the Chinese gardener can do it ? 

I don't think so. Only Japanese can do, I think.

If not good maintenance to these tree, became a different so easy 2year after.

How about after 20years who make same as good traditional proportion trees in the world?

There are not to fit my design concept but looking is beautiful.

But now chained my opinion.

If get a big project with mach budget I will be use these trees.

I want to try to clear for these problems.

But I think can not by only Japan economic conditions now.

Amusing small island golf

It's fantastic and crazy golf island.
Please enjoy on your imagination.
You can play any hole stat and any hole finish, because you have a boat.
And sometime you can enjoy on the beach and BBQ.
You should be some time use boat.
But if you are too enthusiastic golfer, you shuld be take care yourself.
May be you can't stop.
It's endless course.

I was imaged crazy course so boring day on last year.
Now same situation me then I hope something drown again.

I like it ! in Arasiyama Kyoto

My favorite garden is this one in Kyoto.  (The season was spring)

"The Hougen-in" front of this garden used to many stones with ponds and creek
that so natural,but all by hand made.
There have the same direction of my design concepts.
I don't like to see the garden by hand made but this garden is different for me.
I was leaned of the existence of  this garden six years ago but I had this garden image already.
So it was surprised for me to see first.
Use line of creek,every setting angle of stones and planting of trees,and also all configuration is very good.
And same as my design theories.
I want to try to make like this garden someday somewhere.
Anyway such a buitifule garden it is!

Rock Art Landscape

It's my designed landscape use rocks.
That the Construction in this summer.
This site is located in old golf course, and with remodel for the practice green and range.
Location is very Taite. And must to fill over the old stone wall.
I often design the Rock garden.
My concept is infinitely closer to nature.

20-minute excursion from home

I have a short trip along  with my wife and daughter.
Kitayama Botanical Garden and Arima hot spring town go in 20-minutes by car.


Kitayama area used to be stone from this mountain where this fortification
the Osaka Castle when Tokugawa, it's legacy still left.
But I think also used these sotones Hideyosi Toyotomi too.


Arima is very famous hot spring spot in Japan.
Every time has a lot of costumers.
